Review
I found this book because of a
friend. She recommended it to me and she says that this is a fun book to read.
When I got to Goodreads and read some reviews, I was quite disappointed because
they say that this book isn’t that great because of the editing. But hey, I
read a book because of its story, not how they write it, and since I’m a person
with full of curiosity I tried it. And it has a twist; it is a fairy tale in a
modern world.
A story about an average girl who
once a wallflower that turned into one of the famous students in her school,
but here’s the catch:
She is the descendant of the
Brothers Grimm as told by her mother and… She is cursed.
Chanda’s Unenchanted is a witty
and enjoyable book, although sometimes I don’t get some of the characters
because they are quite confusing, still I have fun reading it. I actually like
the plot of this story, those funny scenes… oh wait, the ending! That freaking
ending, I didn’t expect it though. After reading the last chapter I’m not quite
sure if she has written the ending right or there is some missing chapters.
Gladly, this isn’t a standalone book so there’s still chance for that freaking conclusion!
How could you end a book like that? That is pain, not ending.
Overall, I have mixed feelings
about this book. I don’t know, in point of fact the idea of this book is
likeable but there is something that she needs to fix: The Characters.
Despite of some not so good
reviews of other people, I still advise you to read it, maybe there’s a
possibility that you might like it. By the way, I’m going to finish the other
two books tomorrow so better wait for my other reviews and check it out. *wink*

The idea that the character is a descendant from the Brothers Grimm & cursed sounds like something I will enjoy :)
